ARHM Update – an overview of ARHM’s activity and agreed work plan for the year ahead.
Infection Prevention Control – with the easing of lockdown we are very pleased to have Anne Smith, Clinical Lead, Infection Prevention and Control, Brighton and Hove Public Health Team/Adult Social Care. Anne will be discussing the virtual assessments that she carries out, providing advice and support to retirement developments to ensure that the valuable lessons we have all learnt during the pandemic can be maintained in the ‘business as usual’ arena.
Health and Safety Update – Dr Shaun Lundy joins us again and we have asked him to cover Personal Evacuation Plans amongst other items.
Insurance in Leasehold – Top 10 Questions – Paul Robertson, heads up a small group companies that specialise in insuring leasehold flats. He is the author of ‘Robertson’s Insurance Principles for Leasehold Flats’. Paul will share his knowledge of the top 10 questions on the thorny subject of leasehold insurance.
Legal Update – Jeff Platt and Alan Wake will be on hand to bring us up to date with the latest updates on leasehold reform and relevant case law in the leasehold sector.
Technology and Repairs –Mark Brohan joins us to talk about the development of software that helps early diagnosis of domestic heating problems so that repairs are ordered and completed more efficiently, particularly relevant to the older and more vulnerable population.
